Sales Representative
Rotating Machinery Services, Inc.Sales Representative focused on developing new business and managing client relationships in industrial services. Seeking candidates with strong technical knowledge and proven sales experience.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive revenue growth by developing new business within targeted industrial markets
- Build and manage long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, maintenance managers, and procurement teams
- Identify opportunities for component repair, coating, grinding, and refurbishment services
- Evaluate customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to define scope and recommend solutions
- Lead the quoting and negotiation process for complex, high-value jobs
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure technical alignment, execution success, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a strong field presence through regular customer visits and industry engagement
- Provide market intelligence and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience supporting critical equipment within oil & gas, power generation, and heavy industrial markets
- Experience in industrial service sales and customer support
- Proven high-performing sales presence within the assigned region
- Demonstrated track record of achieving customer satisfaction and profitable sales growth
- Ability to identify business opportunities and effectively communicate them within RMS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR Equivalent years of outside sales experience within industrial services, machining, or manufacturing environments
- Strong technical background in rotating equipment, coatings, machining, or repair services
- Proven track record of developing new business and closing complex deals
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Established industry relationships within oil & gas, power generation, or related sectors preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Self-directed, accountable, and results-oriented
Benefits
Comp & perks- Full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week; additional hours, evenings, or weekends may be required based on project demands
