About the role

  • Financial Strategy & Advisory: Serve as the primary financial advisor to the CEO and COO. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Financial Operations: Direct oversight of all finance functions, including AP/AR, payroll, and tax. Ensure regulatory compliance and proper governance of financial processes. Identify and mitigate material financial or internal control risks.
  • FP&A & Budgetary Control: Lead the forecasting process, monitor departmental spend against forecasts and proactively identify performance risks or trends.
  • Executive Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate financial analyses and management reporting. Prepare board-ready summaries and reports on operating performance and growth-related data.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with financial institutions and government agencies in relation to funding initiatives and manage reporting and compliance requirements towards lenders and investors.

Requirements

  • Executive Experience: Proven track record at the VP of Finance or (Senior) Finance Director level within a high-growth B2B SaaS organization. Experience managing finance teams
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of SaaS-specific financial modeling, KPIs, recurring revenue accounting, and GAAP/IFRS standards.
  • Hands-on Experience: Comfortable balancing strategic oversight and day-to-day operational responsibilities. Experience with ERP/finance systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders. We value the "Scientific Method" approach: objective, fact-based, and transparent.
  • Logistics: Available for a full-time interim commitment (4-5 days/week) and based in an EMEA-aligned time zone.
