About the role
- Overall responsibility for construction management of all new builds, conversions, extensions and renovation projects
- Planning, controlling and monitoring construction projects across all service phases
- Coordination and leadership of external architects, specialist planners, contractors and authorities
- Ensuring compliance with cost, schedule and quality requirements
- Preparation and monitoring of budgets, investment and project timelines
- Contract and change-order management
- Ensuring compliance with all legal, building regulation and brand-specific requirements
- Close collaboration with executive management, site managers and internal specialist departments
- Development of standards, processes and sustainability concepts in construction management
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering (construction) or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in construction or project management, ideally in retail, commercial or industrial construction
- Experience managing complex construction projects and working with multiple project stakeholders
- Leadership experience and strong organizational and communication skills
- Commercial mindset with strong cost- and deadline-orientation
- Confident knowledge of relevant laws, standards and regulations
- Willingness to travel between locations
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
