About the role
- Assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with respiratory conditions
- Conduct pulmonary function screenings and spirometry testing
- Provide patient education on respiratory equipment and treatment
- Administer respiratory treatments such as albuterol
- Conduct diagnostic testing and patient follow-up
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for effective patient care
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and/or Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) preferred
- Experience in performing spirometry testing
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of respiratory equipment and medications
