About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Full ownership of international procurement, from packaging materials to product components
- Ensuring continuous availability of all packaging materials and product components
- Negotiating with Chinese suppliers to reduce COGS
- Building robust processes for collaboration with international suppliers
- Developing and maintaining clear SOPs to ensure smooth cooperation with internal stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience negotiating with Chinese suppliers
- Intercultural competence in the China context
- Robust, data-driven forecasts and inventory planning
- Ideally experienced with common ERP or planning tools
- Visibility over inventory, delivery dates, and production schedules
- Ability to identify and improve inefficient processes
- Business-fluent in English and German (Chinese advantageous)
