Senior Supplier Quality Surveillance Engineer
RosendinSenior Supplier Quality Surveillance Engineer focused on quality assurance and control in procurement processes. Conducting inspections and audits to ensure standards are met within strict timelines.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform quality assurance and quality control shop inspections and audits
- Assist in ensuring subcontracts or corporate agreements for good and services meet Rosendin Procurement quality standards
- Ensure critical materials and engineered equipment purchased meet or exceed quality and workmanship expectations
- Read and understand equipment specifications, drawings, and provide feedback
- Communicate inspection and audit results and recommend necessary corrective actions
- Review Supplier/Subcontractor Non-Conformance Reports and assist in developing corrective action plans
- Coordinate with Quality Managers to approve final disposition and sign off NCR’s
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of professional supplier experience
- 5+ years of professional supplier quality experience
- 2-year associate’s degree in electrical technology or 4-year bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- API SIEE Certification preferred
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification preferred
- Must be familiar with electrical procurement and vendor surveillance procedures as well as working knowledge of construction industry codes and standards related to manufacture and testing of electrical components/systems
