About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for maximizing the potential of the automated nurse scheduling program
  • Maintaining accurate data in scheduling and payroll systems
  • Working with Managers to create and generate work schedules for all unit staff
  • Coordinating the scheduling of associates to meet unit and individual needs
  • Collaborating with the PRN staff, students, and Mobile Resource Pool for scheduling
  • Creating audit reports and analyzing data to maintain integrity of the for-Nursing Units system-wide
  • Ensuring payroll is accurate and checking time punches
  • Assisting with department-specific orientation for new hires and students

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Associate degree (preferred)
  • 1 year of recent hospital, scheduling, payroll or data entry experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
