About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Systematically search property portals daily with a clear focus to find suitable apartments
Assess apartments for coliving suitability, including floor plan, condition, building, and owner willingness
Arrange viewings and inspect apartments on site
Submit applications on behalf of Room Estate and position the company as an attractive tenant
Persistently follow up until a decision is made
Support the process through to lease signing
Review lease agreements against a checklist for red flags, missing clauses, and discrepancies from the listing
Keep the acquisition pipeline clean and document property status transparently
Work closely with the Acquisition Team Lead; discretionary decisions rest with the Team Lead
Own end-to-end apartment acquisition for German-speaking Switzerland with a focus on the Zurich region

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ownership and self-management
Deliver a closed process with high frequency and a reliable cadence; close loops and prevent dossiers from stalling
German at native level
Understand Swiss German in conversations with property managers and owners
Persistence and negotiation skills
An eye for floor plans and the ability to assess coliving suitability and the realistically possible number of rooms
Carefulness in checklist work and the ability to spot deviations
Driver's license (category B)
Willingness to conduct regular viewings in the Zurich region and the rest of German-speaking Switzerland
Fluent English, spoken and written
Knowledge of tenancy law not required
