About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with product managers, designers, analysts, and engineers to deliver robust technical solutions
Design, develop, and maintain features across the stack, focusing on scalable architecture, performance, and maintainability
Write clean, efficient, and documented code for the React Native mobile app and backend services
Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decisions
Contribute through high-quality code, peer reviews, and mentoring early-career engineers
Own feature testing with Jest unit tests and Cypress end-to-end tests
Investigate and resolve production issues, improve observability, and contribute to platform reliability
Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams on deployments, CI/CD workflows, and system performance
Stay current on industry trends and introduce improvements to tools, processes, or technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–4 years of professional Software Engineer experience
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
Mobile development experience, such as React Native or another mobile framework
Experience with Node, Express, React, AWS, and relational databases
Proficiency writing complex and efficient SQL queries
Experience working with a growing team and early-stage startup strongly preferred
Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Self-driven, problem-solving mindset with passion for researching solutions
