About the role
- Lead a cross functional team of engineers, designers, analysts, marketers and more to achieve a major company objective.
- Craft strategy, define north-star metric tied to the Roo Equation, and ensure dashboarding for execution.
- Operate with significant autonomy using growth-minded, iterative approach to learn quickly and drive measurable outcomes.
- Report to VP of Product & Design and provide weekly written updates to executive team and stakeholders.
- Occasionally be onsite in San Francisco co-working space for meetings and team events.
Requirements
- Marketplace experience: 4+ years working on core, supply or demand teams of a growing marketplace product.
- Impact focus and a consistent history of delivering measurable results for both users and the business.
- Strong writing skills, especially in strategic communication.
- Verbal communication that is clear and effective.
- Ability to think big and small to build a portfolio of experiments and larger features.
- Data-informed: design, run, and interpret experiments and A/B tests; some SQL knowledge.
- Natural leadership and ability to influence across job functions.
- Prioritize UX and prototype solutions.
- Understand startup velocity and adapt to shifting priorities.
