Electrician for Battery Storage Systems – Field Service

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform maintenance work on CHP (combined heat and power) gas engines independently according to the maintenance schedule
- Analyze and resolve malfunctions
- Carry out major overhauls and commissioning of gas engines
- Optimize plant operation with respect to running behavior and technical availability, and support new and existing installations
- Advise and support service and sales organizations on service and maintenance matters
- Prepare detailed service reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), electronics technician (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
- Further training as a technician, master craftsman, or certified electrical specialist is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of engines
- Initial experience working with CHP systems is desirable
- High level of initiative and a confident manner when dealing with customers
- Independent and service-oriented working style
- Reliability and ability to work in a team
- Good user-level skills in MS Office
- English skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel and to participate in on-call duty
- Driver's license class 3 or B
