Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure that manufacturing processes can achieve and sustain the design intent and responsible for mitigating against process deviation.
Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and technologies, digital systems and/or methods of manufacture which are capable of meeting and continue to meet requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time.
Capture, analyse and use data to demonstrate and improve the current and future capability of manufacturing processes.
Operate beneficial relationships with partners and suppliers to enable delivery of their objectives.
Operate a culture of zero defects within the organisation.
Works with all functions to reduce risk and drive product Right First Time.
Ensure compliance to all relevant company, legislative and technical policies and standards including RRMS, SABRe and Export Control and Intellectual Property requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A good understanding of quality and Manufacturing Engineering principles, systems, and tools.
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Experience in a Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering related discipline.
Knowledge of developing new manufacturing and assembly technology
Experience in New Product Introduction, preferably for an Electrical System or Sub System.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
To work for Rolls-Royce you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
