About the role
- Manage direct account business with tail customers (100% time/~100 customers)
- Direct account management with a focus on Food Manufacturers and Producers
- Maintain strict adherence and metrics
- Conduct outbound new customer prospecting calls daily (5-10 calls)
- Facilitate business review processes with current customers
- Support existing business and pursue new placement opportunities with the goal of creating incremental growth
Requirements
- 5+ years of prior account/sales management experience
- 5+ years of experience in industrial, food, or ingredient sales, preferably in a quota carrying role
- Ability to perform consistent outbound prospecting and new business development
- Background working with Food Manufacturers, Producers, Branded Manufacturers, Co Packers, Meal Kits, or Commissaries
- Proficiency using CRM tools, sales activity logging, and business intelligence/reporting tools
- Ability to travel up to 25% required
