About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and execute the Group’s procurement strategy for external workforce services supporting our fulfilment centres and warehouses across all markets.
  • Run tenders and lead negotiations at executive level; contract through the Group’s standard procurement and contract management tooling.
  • Own the commercial architecture and cost governance of the category: benchmark provider pricing across markets and sites, drive cost transparency, and deliver measurable savings against a spend baseline you establish.
  • Establish supplier performance management: service levels, quality, and delivery against contract, with regular scorecard reviews with providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Embed AI, digital procurement tools, and analytics to create full visibility of category spend and automate sourcing and contract lifecycle processes.
  • Monitor provider market trends, labour regulation, and pricing across CEE and DACH to future-proof the Group’s operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of experience in senior procurement, workforce/staffing, or category management roles — ideally with deep exposure to agency labour, temporary staffing, or outsourced services, from either the buying or the provider side.
  • Proven track record running large tenders and negotiating labour or service contracts at executive level.
  • Working knowledge of temporary agency work legislation and labour cost mechanics; comfort operating across CEE/DACH regulatory environments.
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen — you think in unit cost, service levels, and total cost, not just contract value.
  • Strong command of AI and digital tools in procurement, including automation, analytics, and contract management systems.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach — you are comfortable building the function and its processes from the ground up.
  • Excellent stakeholder management: you will operate between Operations, HR, Finance, and provider executives, often with conflicting interests.
