About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take end-to-end responsibility for designing innovative automation concepts
- Conduct detailed analysis of warehouse and customer requirements
- Develop solution designs for warehouse automation systems
- Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors and technology providers
- Contribute to project budgets, schedules and technical documentation
- Create templates, design guidelines and best practices for group-wide scaling
- Regularly consult with implementation teams to validate design decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse automation or logistics system design
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- Excellent AutoCAD skills; experience with 3D modeling and simulation tools
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Experience in standardizing design approaches for automation
