  • Optimize using data: You use customer insights and analytics to continuously develop your category
  • Negotiate with added value: You negotiate long-term partnerships that deliver real value for both our customers and our suppliers
  • Act together with impact: Together with Marketing and Supply Chain you define pricing, plan targeted promotions and manage inventory efficiently
  • Make fast decisions: You keep performance (revenue & margin) constantly in view and act agilely to maximize the customer experience and business results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in Category Management, strategic fresh produce buying (Buying) or Key Account Management — ideally with fruit and vegetables in the FMCG sector or a dynamic e-commerce environment
  • Education: A completed degree (Bachelor) in Business Administration (BWL), Economics (VWL), Marketing or a related field is advantageous
  • Skills: Strong negotiation skills and excellent analytical abilities
  • Commercial acumen: Deep product passion, market curiosity and excellent commercial judgment
  • Organizational skills: Experience managing multiple suppliers and complex, freshness-intensive product lines
  • Doer mentality: A hands-on mentality and the confidence to make independent decisions
  • Languages: Fluent German and English
