Head of Supply Chain

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead supply chain performance
- Own availability, stock health, shrink, OTIF and working capital
- Improve supplier performance and ensure SLA adherence
- Build and develop strong teams
- Lead ordering specialists and vendor operations managers
- Lead a team of up to 10 people, while staying closely involved in priorities, execution and problem-solving
- Drive automation & digitalisation
- Increase automation in ordering, forecasting and exception handling
- Shape tools and workflows with Product and Tech teams
- Work actively with AI and data to improve decision-making, remove inefficiencies and optimise how the function operates
- Strengthen cross-functional alignment
- Partner with category, warehouse, finance and demand planning
- Improve visibility, planning and decision-making
- Enhance planning & reporting
- Improve forecast accuracy and reduce manual work
- Own dashboards and data clarity for the entire CZ supply chain
- Build your own analyses and use them to drive better performance and smarter decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in supply chain, preferably in retail, FMCG, grocery or similar
- Proven experience in leadership
- Strong experience in ordering, inventory management, OTIF, ASN, inbound accuracy
- Understanding of fresh/chilled/dry supply chains will be advantage
- Strong track record improving KPIs and leading teams at scale
- Data-driven mindset; fluent in Excel, other tools advantage
- Experience working with tech teams on tools, automation, AI
- Strongly hands-on, independent, and comfortable owning analyses and optimisation work yourself
- Open to AI and motivated to use it in practice to improve processes and performance
- Fluent Czech/Slovak and advanced English
