About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assisting with day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing operations
- Implementing yield, process and product improvements
- Maintaining safety, product quality/yield and manufacturing effectiveness through daily troubleshooting
- Assisting with optimization of manufacturing processes to provide sustainable gains
- Resolving customer technical/quality issues and partnering on special products
- Participating in cross-functional teams to resolve problems, develop, and start up new products
- After-hours on-call responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of process engineering experience
- Familiarity with Minitab and Microsoft Office
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience solving technical problems relating to mechanics, thermodynamics and/or materials characterization
- Experience with ISO/IATF Quality Systems
- Familiarity with Process Safety Management and working in an electrically classified area
