About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accountable for the overall performance of the manufacturing site
  • Manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, delivery, and cost targets
  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity, yield, scrap, uptime, and cycle time
  • Own site operating budget and cost performance
  • Champion quality systems and root cause analysis
  • Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing practices
  • Lead within a unionized workforce
  • Coach and develop supervisors
  • Support grievance resolution through investigations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations or other related field
  • 6+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of safety systems, production management, and continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to develop teams, influence across functions, and drive results
  • Demonstrated experience leading in a unionized manufacturing setting preferred
