Financial Systems Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the technology landscape that underpins our core financial processes
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across financial systems
- Document business processes, data flows, system configurations, and user procedures
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved system utilization
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions to support decision-making across the organization
- Support and enhance financial reporting, planning and consolidations processes/systems
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close support activities, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance, master data quality, and reporting standardization
- Support training, change management, and adoption of standard Finance/Accounting processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Financial Systems
- Hands-on experience with SAP SAC-P (planning models, data actions, stories)
- Hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting (configuration / data collection / translation / elimination / reporting)
- Experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development)
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, FP&A processes and financial data structures
- Experience supporting FP&A Centers of Excellence or shared services models
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
