About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for analytics solutions
  • Analyze and translate business needs into data requirements, user stories, and functional specifications
  • Develop minimal viable product (MVP) or prototype analytic products for initial review as needed
  • Drive innovation among the community of analytics minded users in the areas
  • Drive agile delivery of scaled up versions of analytic products and ensure delivered products satisfy needs of business partners
  • Act as the primary facilitator for data governance efforts, including intake of new governance concerns, prioritization, and facilitation of meetings which lead to documentable decisions
  • Participate in all phases of data projects from inception to implementation
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot data-related issues
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology or related field
  • May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of relevant business/data analytics experience
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, and proficiency with tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
