About the role

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and data needs
  • Gather, document, and analyze requirements and translate these into user stories for Scrum backlog
  • Conduct detailed data analysis and mapping between source systems and the Azure data platform
  • Develop functional specifications for the development team
  • Collaborate with developers, and architects to design and implement analytic solutions
  • Create Power Bl reports and dashboards of simple to medium complexity
  • Validate and test data models, reports, and dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Assist in the development and execution of test plans, including unit and user acceptance testing
  • Provide support in troubleshooting data issues and discrepancies
  • Own service tickets to achieve service levels (SLAs)
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
  • May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 4+ years of relevant data analytics or business systems analyst experience
  • Solid understanding of data governance, modeling, and validation principles and techniques
  • Experience working with SAP S/4 HANA (Finance, Manufacturing, Sales, or Supply Chain) and Microsoft Azure data services
  • Proficient in using SOL and working with databases
  • Experience with Power Bl, Tableau, or similar.
