About the role

As a Freelance AI & Automation Specialist, you are our "Architect of Efficiency".
You identify bottlenecks in our Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams and resolve them with intelligent workflows (n8n, Make, Zapier) and the use of AI tools.
Workflow architecture: You analyze our existing processes (sales pipeline, onboarding, support) and build robust automations using tools like Make (formerly Integromat) or n8n.
AI integration: You implement LLMs (e.g., OpenAI API, Claude) into our workflows to automate tasks such as lead qualification, email drafting, and data analysis.
Tech stack integration: You connect our tools (e.g., CRMs like HubSpot/Pipedrive, Slack, Notion, Google Workspace) so data flows automatically and seamlessly.
Custom scripting: Where no-code reaches its limits, you write small scripts (Python/JavaScript) to cover the final mile of integration.
Empowerment: You train our team on the new AI tools and produce documentation so the solutions remain maintainable.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience: Demonstrable experience as an AI freelancer, Automation Engineer, or similar role (ideally in a B2B SaaS environment).
Tool mastery: You are an expert with Make.com or n8n and are highly familiar with webhooks and APIs.
AI understanding: You know how to engineer prompts to obtain reliable results from AI models in business processes (not just "toys", but productive output).
Coding skills: Basic knowledge of Python or JavaScript is a strong plus for calling APIs or transforming data.
Mindset: You have a product mindset. You build workflows that include error handling and can scale, not systems that fail on the first error.
Language: Very good German and English (we are a Berlin startup, but our clients are German-speaking dental practices — understanding the context is important).
