About the role
- Be the analytical backbone of the company: Turn complex data into clear insights that inform product strategy, feature impact, and business decisions.
- Partner across domains: Support stakeholders in Product, Revenue Operations, and Marketing with reliable analyses tailored to their goals.
- Discover what truly matters: Run exploratory analyses, form and validate hypotheses, and help the team continuously improve the product through data-driven learning.
- Own product reporting end-to-end: Build and maintain dashboards, deep dives, and ad-hoc analyses that create shared clarity for product, design, and engineering teams.
- Create direct customer value: Deliver meaningful insights to our largest customers, helping them better understand and optimize their own data.
- Shape and safeguard our data model: Co-develop and evolve dbt models with Data Scientists, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and trust.
- Collaborate deeply across Roger: Work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and founders to enable smarter, faster decisions across the company.
Requirements
- Strong command of SQL: You write clean, efficient, and well-structured queries and understand how to model data for exploration and analysis.
- Product analytics experience: You’ve worked with SaaS or digital products—ideally in a B2B environment—and know how to measure product usage, funnels, and outcomes.
- Detail-oriented, pattern-driven: You’re precise in your work, yet able to zoom out, spot trends, and connect signals across datasets.
- Curious and analytical mindset: You don’t just answer questions—you challenge assumptions, ask better ones, and design meaningful ways to measure what matters.
- Depth over surface insights: You go beyond first results, investigate root causes, uncover patterns, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Clear communicator: You turn complex analyses into concise, actionable insights tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative team player: You thrive in a remote-first, cross-functional setup and enjoy partnering with product, engineering, and business teams.
- Big Bonus points if you have experience with dbt , data modeling, or data warehouse design, hands-on experience with Looker Studio, Lightdash, Power BI, or Tableau, Python skills for analysis, automation, or experimentation, exposure to data science, machine learning, or AI-driven analytics in a product context.
