About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support for investment and fundraising projects – from initial analysis through to successful closing
- Preparation of financial models, business plans and investor presentations to assess business models and investment opportunities
- Conduct market, competitor and company analyses to identify trends and investment opportunities
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings, pitches and investor discussions
- Assist with M&A transactions, including company valuation, due diligence and transaction structuring
- Prepare decision papers and research reports for management and investors
- Continuously monitor capital markets and relevant industry developments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Some practical experience in investment banking, corporate finance, venture capital, private equity or consulting is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and confident handling of financial models and common tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, and, where applicable, PitchBook/Capital IQ/Mergermarket/Crunchbase)
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship, capital markets and strategic corporate development
- Structured, precise and independent working style – including under time pressure
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Team spirit, initiative and willingness to take responsibility in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
