About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support for investment and fundraising projects — from initial analysis to successful completion
- Preparation of financial models, business plans and investor presentations to evaluate business models and investment opportunities
- Market, competitor and company analyses to identify trends and investment opportunities
- Preparation for and participation in client meetings, pitches and investor discussions
- Involvement in M&A transactions, including company valuation, due diligence and transaction structuring
- Preparation of decision papers and research reports for management and investors
- Continuous monitoring of capital markets and relevant industry developments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- Initial practical experience in investment banking, corporate finance, venture capital, private equity or consulting is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and confident handling of financial models and common tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, and where applicable PitchBook/Capital IQ/Mergermarket/Crunchbase)
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship, capital markets and strategic corporate development
- Structured, precise and independent working style — also under time pressure
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Team spirit, initiative and willingness to take responsibility in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
