About the role

  • Support for investment and fundraising projects – from initial analysis through to successful completion
  • Preparation of financial models, business plans and investor presentations to evaluate business models and investment opportunities
  • Market, competitor and company analyses to identify trends and investment opportunities
  • Preparation for and participation in client meetings, pitches and investor discussions
  • Participation in M&A transactions, including company valuation, due diligence and transaction structuring
  • Preparation of decision papers and research reports for management and investors
  • Ongoing monitoring of capital markets and relevant industry developments

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Economics (Volkswirtschaft) or a comparable field
  • Initial practical experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Venture Capital, Private Equity or Consulting is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and confident use of financial models and common tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, optionally PitchBook/Capital IQ/Mergermarket/Crunchbase)
  • High interest in entrepreneurship, capital markets and strategic corporate development
  • Structured, precise and self-reliant working style – even under time pressure
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Team spirit, initiative and readiness to take on responsibility in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
