About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the site installation, testing and commissioning of our production equipment and solutions.
Take full responsibility for project execution with respect to installation, testing and commissioning.
Ensure that the necessary expertise from other departments - environment, safety, MMR’s, are included in solutions.
Communicate and supervise suppliers/contractors to place orders and follow up to ensure compliance with requirements.
Ensure all documentation / reporting is done and archived following company directives and Group Technology rules, and available tools.
Ensure that all site work is done safely and in accordance with best practice site safety.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years working in a similar position, with site installation, mechanical design, machine construction, design specifications experience required
3D modelling using Inventor or a similar program
Ability to travel both nationally and internationally 60% of the time
Extended periods of presence at project sites are required, ie. temporary relocation
Preference given to candidates who have smith, mechanic or other type of craftsman expertise
