Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Shipping/Receiving Department and master distribution center operations.
Champion safety and drive process improvements.
Coordinate daily assignments and manage inventory transitions.
Oversee facility compliance and partner across departments.
Drive measurable continuous improvement initiatives with quarterly reporting.
Develop and maintain procedures documentation and train associates on all procedures.
Ensure facility operations through opening/closing and handle emergencies.
Support cross-functional needs including backup to Shipping Team Leader.
Recruit, hire, interview candidates, and partner with HR on employee coaching.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Functional knowledge of SAP or similar ERP Program including the use of WMS programs
Ability to deliver clear and informative written and oral communication
Above average Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills
Strong communication ability
Independently builds relationships & networks.
Maintains constructive and proactive working relationships within shipping departments at all locations and with all external departments interactive with the shipping department.
