About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide support for applications in the SAP/Logistics/GTS Supply Chain areas
Analyze current supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery
Build relationships with business teams and ensure seamless integration and operation of supply chain systems
Participate in gathering requirements, including leading, designing, and providing guidance on recommendations
Write code and configuration documents and implement unit, system, integration, and user acceptance tests
Define functional specifications for new functionality
Understand business processes and requirements and communicate them to ABAP developers on the Service Delivery team
Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements
Conduct training sessions for staff on new supply chain processes
Report to the Engineering Manager IT

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field
3–9 years of experience
Proven experience as a Supply Chain Consultant or similar role, focused on IT systems
Proficiency in supply chain software and management tools, including SAP ECC 6.0, CRM, SRM, GTS, SNC, and Microsoft Suite
Experience with supply chain standards
Experience with SAP Supply Chain Management modules preferred
Certifications in supply chain management preferred
Knowledge of latest IT technologies and their application in supply chain management preferred
Ability to adapt language and tone to different audiences and communicate clearly
Ability to work within a team to achieve shared goals
Integrity, reliability, and accountability
Ability to maintain performance in high-stress situations
