About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the EMEA real estate portfolio through analytical insight, lease execution, and foundational real estate knowledge
  • Represent Rockwell Automation’s interests in leasing and subleasing matters
  • Track and manage lease extensions, renewals, termination options, and contractual obligations
  • Communicate with internal customers about upcoming lease actions and business inputs
  • Gather location, size, layout, and space functionality requirements
  • Develop comparative analyses for lease options, including rental costs and operating expenses
  • Assess occupancy trends, cost drivers, and usage metrics using internal data and market information
  • Prepare capital and one-time expense budgets for leasing activities
  • Prepare business case summaries with financial and non-financial considerations in partnership with Finance
  • Maintain accurate lease abstracts, financial analyses, and updates in the real estate management system
  • Partner with third-party agencies to identify suitable sites
  • Coordinate site visits and gather feedback for selection decisions
  • Prepare and route business case approval documents
  • Coordinate third parties performing fit-outs or lease-related modifications with vendors, IT, and Security
  • Manage project timelines and support budgeting with capital expense and lease rate estimates
  • Coordinate with the global real estate team and report to the Global Real Estate Leader

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in real estate, business management, business, analytics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate, lease transactions, or related fields in at least two European markets in the EMEA Region
  • Experience identifying locations, sizing needs, negotiating leases, and providing analysis
  • Experience analyzing real estate lease data and preparing clear recommendations
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or real estate databases is useful
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (10–15%)
  • Proficiency in English plus at least one additional language
  • Financial background
