About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead procurement activities for direct materials, components, and manufacturing services
  • Develop suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capabilities
  • Prepare RFQs, perform techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiate pricing, contracts, and lead times
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on new product development, supplier selection, and PPAP activities
  • Promote supplier localization and cost reduction through value engineering and strategic sourcing
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to improve quality, delivery, and service
  • Manage supplier risks and develop alternate sources to ensure supply continuity
  • Support global sourcing programmes with the Cubic Group Purchase Team
  • Ensure material availability while maintaining procurement-policy compliance and ERP/SAP processes
  • Build long-term supplier relationships and improve performance to achieve organizational goals
  • Report to the Sourcing Manager as part of the Procurement team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field
  • 8–10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management
  • Expertise in ERP and SAP systems and procurement tools
  • Demonstrated expertise in analysis, partner communication, and leadership
  • Expertise in global sourcing and managing international suppliers
  • Expertise in cost benchmarking, supplier risk assessment, and category management
  • Expertise in manufacturing, technology, or large-scale procurement environments
  • Familiarity with digital procurement platforms and automation tools
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners
  • Ability to lead change and process improvements
  • Commitment to ethical, sustainable sourcing practices
