Key responsibilities & impact

Develop applications using Logix Designer and FactoryTalk Optix
Build edge-to-cloud integrations using DataMosaix, Plex, and Fiix
Develop APIs, microservices, and modern web applications
Use Time-Series Databases and Data Visualization Tools
Develop Requirements from the understanding of Manufacturing Systems
Define architectures from Logix control layer to cloud
Align control data models with enterprise and cloud solutions
Apply cloud-native and event-driven architectures
Improve adoption of OPC UA standards
Design data models using Smart Objects, FT Optix and FT DataMosaix
Integrate Logix, historian, and enterprise data
Promote analytics and predictive use cases
Translate complex architectures into solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.
JavaScript / TypeScript / Python
C# / .NET
Microservices, APIs, container-based systems
Technical and business writing
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with a data warehouse like Snowflake, Redshift, or Spark
Understanding of InfluxDB / Grafana Dashboarding
Understanding of MQTT / Kafka Data Streaming
