About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support sales at key customer pursuits by providing specific solution expertise in a defined geographical area.
  • Report to the Regional Manager, Enterprise Software Solution Consultants and work in a hybrid environment from one of Rockwell Automation office locations.
  • Participate in account planning and sales strategy focusing on new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion.
  • Advise Technology Consultants and sales team on proposal generation.
  • Analyze our competition's products and define our differentiators, as part of a specific solution.
  • Configure a complex product and services solution, and associated contractual terms, that meet the customer's mid- to long-term needs.
  • Use your domain expertise as a resource for internal partners and to advise customers on our products, solutions and services.
  • Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts.
  • Build a network of executives within the business sector to obtain market intelligence on industry trends and identify opportunities for expansion.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Typically requires minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solution Consulting position
  • 5+ years of experience consulting within cybersecurity products.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in Verve or Secure OT Platform.
  • Certifications including CISSP, CCSP, Security+, Fortinet, or other cybersecurity focused certifications.
  • Familiarity with outcome-based selling.
  • Knowledge of industry strategies within the industrial automation space.
