About the role
- Partner with multi-discipline teams to create and manage project delivery plans, finances, and resource plans.
- Look beyond the current project state to identify dependencies, anticipate obstacles and risks, and proactively put mitigation and contingency plans in place.
- Bring your team together to drive decisions, resolve complex project issues and risks, and manage change.
- Concisely communicate progress, decisions, issues, risks, and mitigation plans to your team and senior leadership.
- Ensure project alignment across other initiatives to avoid duplication or misaligned opportunities.
- Provide input to product roadmaps and strategies to optimize new product and feature delivery.
- Note: You will not have direct reports in this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree

- Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- Advanced training or certifications in PMI/PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Business Administration, Management, Operations, Project Engineering, or Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in product or application development, especially with electronic hardware and embedded software
- Experience in a project management or project leadership role
- Partner with management and lead indirect resources
- Demonstrated experience in project planning (including financial budgeting and forecasting), execution, and risk management
- Knowledge of project/product management tools such as Atlassian Jira, Jama, SAP, and scheduling software
- Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies, especially with the Scaled Agile Framework
- Knowledge of product certifications, such as 61508 functional safety, 62443 security, UL, CE, and TUV
- Technical knowledge of industrial controls, new product design, hardware/software, product testing, manufacturing, or continuation engineering.
