About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve Rockwell Automation sales targets for Cubic products and solutions and meet business revenue plans using a discipline sales process within targeted accounts.
  • Directly responsible for meeting quota by negotiating and bringing opportunities to closure while working with the broader matrixed Rockwell Automation sales teams.
  • Develop an accurate sales forecast and pipeline of Cubic pursuits.
  • Contribute to customer proposals and requests for information.
  • Use Global Sales and Marketing selling resources for target opportunity identification and access.
  • Be the primary liaison between customers, regional sales team members and your department to ensure efficient communications and information flow from sales and pipeline development activities.
  • Translate technical terms into everyday language and manage expectations, both internally and externally.
  • Provide formal regular status reports to sales management which include forecast, pipeline and activity summary information.
  • Monitor and report revenue and pipeline results weekly with CRM tool for assigned Verticals or Geographies to ensure performance goals are met.
  • Develop business and financial knowledge of offering and its impact on potential business.
  • Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with our customer and through the understanding of needs.
  • Explore new opportunities into market (mostly Data centers, Water, Energy, and Industry).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 or more years' experience in sales (Low Voltage solutions, Electrical Panels).
  • Full working proficiency in both Italian and English.
  • Driver's license.
  • Experience presenting sales proposals and systems solutions and closing complex technical sales.
  • Sales experience in the Italian market.
