About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute business plans with distribution partners to achieve revenue, growth, and market share objectives.
- Actively manage all distributor relationships within the assigned territory, including performance reviews, training, inventory planning, and joint sales activities.
- Prospect and recruit new channel partners where needed, ensuring strong market coverage.
- Drive new business through distribution by securing product specifications at OEMs, end users, and EPC/engineering firms.
- Provide proactive support to distributors to help identify opportunities, build pipelines, and convert demand into orders.
- Deliver technical, product, and application support for channel partners to enhance their ability to sell Sprecher + Schuh products.
- Help develop and execute marketing programs, promotions, and product launch initiatives for the channel.
- Conduct joint sales calls with distributors to strategic accounts and prospects.
- Provide field market intelligence, including competitive insights, pricing trends, and industry developments.
- Support channel partners with application design, product selection, and custom product requests as required.
- Coordinate and deliver distributor training, "Lunch and Learns," webinars, and product demonstrations.
- Represent Sprecher + Schuh at industry events, channel conferences, and trade shows.
- Ensure adherence to all Environmental, Safety, Security, and Quality policies, including ISO and Rockwell Automation requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years relevant experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- A valid driver's license.
- The ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customers
