About the role
- Review and interpret customer specifications, drawings, and application requirements to develop customized MCC solutions.
- Complete sales orders from initial review through final release by creating and modifying electrical schematics, mechanical models, and complete Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Communicate technical questions, exceptions, decisions, and design rationale to customers and our teams.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing to provide build instructions, resolve assembly issues, and ensure the final product meets customer needs and internal quality standards.
- Lead projects across several industries, ensuring you meet milestone dates and deliverables while balancing technical, schedule, and commercial considerations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Travel up to 10% of the time.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (Rockwell Automation will not sponsor visas now or in the future for this role).
- A valid drivers license.
- 2+ years of experience working in manufacturing environments (preferred).
- Experience with electrical CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) and mechanical CAD tools (e.g., Pro/Engineer/Creo).
- Experience in motor control, power distribution, or related industrial systems (preferred).
- Experience managing multiple engineering projects with defined milestones (preferred).
- Prior experience in electrical or mechanical engineering disciplines (preferred).
- Rockwell Automation product experience (preferred).
