About the role
- Gather requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements.
- Be responsible for testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications to improve business processes.
- Elicit and validate requirements.
- Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
- Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements through workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
- Establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
- Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
- Help research products to meet agreed upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts.
- Participate in the QA of solutions to ensure features have been enabled and optimized.
- Participate in the selection of any requirements documentation software solutions that we may opt to use.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Develop and use standard templates to write specifications.
- Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
- Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to the project team.
- Conduct peer reviews of requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
- Translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine.
- Communicate enhancements, and modifications of requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors, and other partners so that they understand issues and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Typically requires 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in the field of business administration, finance, computer science or information systems
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning and organizing
- Working knowledge of Windows, MS systems
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience using Agile methodologies including Jira and Jira Align
- Experience using collaborative tools such as Miro.
