About the role

  • Represent Rockwell Automation's comprehensive product and solution portfolio to Fedex and oversee global partnership development
  • Work with Fedex senior management and executives to convey Rockwell Automation's products & services with measurable economic value
  • Promote business growth through management of extended teams and balanced selling efforts across multiple customer levels
  • Develop trust-based relationships with principal customer sponsors and formalize Global Account relationship expectations
  • Qualify opportunities and ensure Global Account access to Rockwell Automation resources across product departments and geographic sales management
  • Participate in Global Account manufacturing and implementation teams to provide control/information input and recommend strategies
  • Identify new growth opportunities in products and services and provide an annual plan for the Global Account in coordination with worldwide sales/support offices
  • Work with the Global Account to expand Rockwell Automation's presence globally and deliver across geographic boundaries
  • Develop understanding of the global ecosystem (machine builders, system integrators, EPCs, panel shops) and partner with local geographic sales teams
  • Travel as needed to communicate Global Account goals, participate in strategic opportunities, and publish reference stories with Global Account approval

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US (United States) is required – we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm, or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program
  • Preferred: Applied experience in one or more areas related to selling control/information solutions into our target industries, or supporting same
  • Preferred: Experience selling at the senior management & executive levels and conveying products/services demonstrating tangible economic value
  • Preferred: 5+ years of global sales experience
  • Industry Experience: Working knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technologies; IOT / IIOT / Software / Annual Recurring Revenue-Subscription model type of experience
  • Experience working with all levels of a manufacturing enterprise – CxO, operations leadership, technical leadership, plant leadership and OEM machine builders
