About the role
- Responsible for short/intermediate/long -term (0~24M) demand planning for standard products on monthly basis
- Support execution of short-term demand forecast process including evaluating risks of inventory and customer service level
- Identify supply gaps through metrics, propose and implement corresponding mitigation plans by working with global planning resources in order to reduce the impact from demand volatility on supply chain
- Conduct regular business and performance reviews with stakeholders including demand planning community/BU/Finance/Manufacturing etc
- Analyze the metrics miss causal and proactively take corrective actions to avoid reoccurrence
- Participating in and support product life cycle management including NPI, phase-out etc
- Work with global planning team to achieve the target inventory level
- Manage projects with ambiguous situation and develop methods to make judgments independently
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 3~5 years supply chain working experience especially demand planning area
- Proficient skills in Microsoft software (MS Excel, Power BI) and ERP system (APO is desirable)
- Independent trouble-shooting skills to identify and investigate root causal
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is preferred.
