About the role

  • Lead a team of Sales Account Managers, and execute an outcome-based selling process with account managers to ensure opportunities exist to achieve or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Develop strategies and plans to create new opportunities through top-to-top executive engagements, capabilities, technology overviews, and positioning our strategic offerings.
  • Recruit, develop, and effectively performance manage an engaged staff capable of exceeding assigned annual sales goals within the strategic accounts.
  • Support employee development by investing time and resources for both formal and informal training and executes development plans/opportunities for the team.
  • Clearly articulate and teach the Rockwell Automation Digital Transformation message to Sales Account Managers.
  • Develop and maintain key executive relationships for long-term business success.
  • Engage with executive leadership with the key Solution Partners and Systems Integrators in the delivery strategy.
  • Analyze local market information and provide ongoing local market intelligence to help future strategic accounts within the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
  • Typically requires 5+ years of relevant sales leadership experience
  • Ability to travel greater than 50% of time.
  • Prior experience in technical sales or strategic account management.
