About the role
- Support and optimize the Salesforce instance, ensuring the testing and live environments stay consistent and reliable.
- Manage administrative tasks such as user management, user profiles, roles, custom objects, page layout changes, custom fields, flows, etc.
- Design end-to-end integrations and solve problems creatively using standard functionality to simplify the user experience.
- Enhance and automate the user experience, utilizing flows, validation rules, reports and dashboards.
- Troubleshooting day-to-day issues with the end users.
- Stay up to date with software releases and new functionality through continued education.
- Document all processes, policies, training, and training collateral.
- Keep end users up to date on all Salesforce changes through continued training sessions, when applicable, and training collateral.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 1-year experience as a Salesforce.com administrator.
- Sales Cloud and Service Cloud certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce tools and best practices, including understanding of page layout customization, overall UX, and permissions.
- Previous experience with VisualForce and APEX code not required, but preferred.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work alone and be a self-starter.
- Strong work ethic with a team-player mentality.
