About the role
- Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
- Oversee P&L performance across branches with deep understanding of mortgage industry economics
- Develop financial models and KPIs that support rapid scaling
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning, capital allocation, and growth initiatives
- Manage relationships with banking partners, auditors, and regulatory bodies
- Build and mentor the finance team as the company continues to grow
- Ensure compliance with mortgage industry regulations and reporting requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry in a senior finance role
- Proven experience managing P&L responsibility for branch operations
- Deep understanding of mortgage industry nuances—compensation structures, warehouse lines, margin analysis, and regulatory requirements
- Track record of success in high-growth or scaling environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy
- Hands-on leader who can operate strategically while rolling up their sleeves when needed
