About the role

  • Support enterprise data initiatives through learning, collaboration, and hands-on contribution.
  • Assist in building and maintaining data solutions that support data-driven decision making.
  • Acquire, validate, and analyze data from primary and secondary sources.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze recurring and ad-hoc reports, queries, dashboards, and databases as directed.
  • Identify trends, patterns, data quality issues, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Document analysis process, data definitions, and methodology to ensure consistency of work.
  • Partner with business units to understand data needs.
  • Participate in data governance process by assisting with documentation and adherence to approved standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or computer information system, or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience, coursework, or foundational experience involving data analysis, data presentation, or visualization using structured data sets.
  • Internship or entry-level experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or related field a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in analytics, data, or technology, shown through academic projects, personal initiatives, internships, or relevant work experience desired.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization or reporting tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts, with the ability to learn and apply querying techniques to support reporting and analysis.
