About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Integrate logging, monitoring, and telemetry into a centralized security information and event management (SIEM) tool.
Perform data mapping to ensure compliance with global data privacy and security regulation.
Develop and refine incident policies and procedures and lead preparedness exercises.
Review, define and maintain secure reference architectures across virtualization, networking, identity, and operating systems.
Define hardening standards for operating systems, networking equipment, SaaS apps, and cloud environments.
Ensure infrastructure security aligns with network segmentation, firewalls, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
Conduct threat modeling and architectural risk assessments for major initiatives.
Participate in the Change Advisory Board and provide guidance to infrastructure changes.
Serve as a technical escalation point for complex cross-domain security issues.
Challenge decisions that introduce systemic risk or operational fragility.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and security architecture.
Expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and/or other IaaS, PaaS platforms.
Strong knowledge of identity systems, access control models, encryption, and secrets management.
Experience translating NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or other security frameworks into best practices.
Experience participating in architecture governance and influencing senior leadership decisions.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or TOGAF.
Relevant experience using SIEM tools such as Splunk, DataDog, ELK, Microsoft Sentinel.
