About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides strategic leadership for the organization's enterprise infrastructure across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
Oversees infrastructure operations, cloud platforms, networks, data centers, endpoint management, and infrastructure security.
Partners with Rochester Regional Health and organizational leaders to ensure technology solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business goals.
Develops strategy and leads infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, disaster recovery, and operational excellence initiatives.
Develops and manages high-performing technical teams.
Assists in the development of long-term technology roadmaps aligned with organizational priorities.
Leads cloud transformation, modernization, and data center optimization initiatives.
Establishes infrastructure standards, governance, and technology roadmaps.
Evaluates emerging technologies and recommends investments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
10 years of experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments
5 years of senior leadership experience directing infrastructure teams
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (preferred)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (preferred)
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (preferred)
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) (preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
Experience leading moderate-scale cloud transformation and hybrid infrastructure initiatives.
Experience in highly regulated industries (healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, financial services, or government).
Experience implementing ITIL, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related operational frameworks.
Experience with enterprise architecture and technology governance programs.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to lead large-scale infrastructure transformations.
