Key responsibilities & impact

Assist radiologists with imaging procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and comfort of patients
Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas
Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts
Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology
Clean, restock, and prepare rooms on a daily basis
Ensure concise and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years college certificate or equivalent
NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire
Must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within 1 year of hire
Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
BLS Certification preferred
