About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently plan, prioritize, manage, and execute the Corporate Compliance project portfolio.
  • Define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project’s life cycle.
  • Prepare and assist Director, Senior Director and/or Chief Compliance Officer in reporting to Rochester Regional Health management and the Audit and Compliance Committee.
  • Collaborate with health care professionals to discuss findings and offer advice and education as to how to improve compliance.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-10 years project management experience desired; preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong analytical, computer, communication, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience effectively working with multiple, diverse stakeholders in a complex project environment
  • Experience managing projects within an established standard project lifecycle framework
  • Lean Sigma, PMP or CAMP preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or Healthcare Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare Compliance required.
