About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive cross-functional alignment across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Commercial, and Regulatory functions
Implement advanced design methodologies and establish global standards
Optimize end-to-end supply chain integration and permanently improve processes
Lead Launch & Integration Orchestration, Strategic Architecture, and Leadership & Capability Building
Deliver operational efficiencies through Lean design, cost savings, and pilot-to-commercial scaling
Enforce global design standards and regulatory compliance
Serve as the key strategic point of contact for global launch readiness
Lead multi-year strategic planning during the early stages of the Product Life Cycle
Lead and co-own the Global Supply Chain strategy through policies, standardized processes, governance, and physical product requirements
Oversee large-scale end-to-end supply chain integration and new product commercialization projects
Influence and negotiate with internal leaders and external Logistics Service Providers and manufacturing sites
Manage conflicts between competing functional interests
Present investment and readiness rationales to senior leadership
Coach culturally diverse, global teams toward solution-oriented outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Required Master's degree in Life Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related subject
Ph.D. or MBA highly preferred
10+ years of leadership experience within the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, healthcare, or similarly highly regulated industry
Hands-on experience across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality & Regulatory environments
Deep knowledge of product development and life cycle management processes
Knowledge of the Roche Diagnostics product portfolio
Strategic decision-making expertise
Transformational leadership experience
Commitment to Roche Values, Creative Leadership, and VACC principles
Experience coaching culturally diverse, global teams
